What does sharing an envelope do?

Sharing an envelope/template will make that envelope visible in Signable to the users that you’ve specified. The options are:

Private to Me

As it suggests, if selected - your template or envelope will only be viewable to yourself and any Super Admins on the account. Don’t worry about recipients, they’ll always be able to see the envelope if they’re included as a party.

Share with Everyone at {Company Name}

This will allow you to widen the scope for your envelope or template to every user that has access to Signable on your account. This is great for when you need envelope visibility across the company or if you’ve made a template that everyone can benefit from!

Share with specific Users/Teams:

This is a feature specific to our Medium Business plans and higher. You can elect to share an envelope or template with specific users (or teams) to ensure the right people see what you’ve sent. This is great if you’re sending documents with sensitive information, or for keeping visibility set to your specific team! Do bear in mind that any Super Admins on the account will see these envelopes regardless of who they’re shared to.
